Concert Summary

Lock up your drugs - Aerosmith is coming to town! These notorious opiate-hounds swaggered out of the Boston night like the bastard sons of Mick and Keef to become one of the world’s top stadium acts. Their triumph in the face of self-inflicted adversity is little wonder when taking into account their potent cocktail of bluesy riffing and proto-punk attitude, plus the liberal application of scarves.

With the release of 1975’s Toys in the Attic, ‘Smith had upped the ante by introducing a dreamy, Beatle-esque whimsy…entire summary

I first saw Aerosmith at Suffolk Down in 1973 playing support to Sha Na Na. Wow, that was along time ago.

This is an excellent concert. There are other hot concerts by Aerosmith from 1974--fathers place for example. Please put up more aerosmith shows!

Steven Tyler best frontman ever! Loved how he floated around the stage and kick ass vocals. Brad, Tom, and Joey always laid down a sledgehammer groove. Joe Perry mean Mr. Style! Have been rockin to these guys since 76.

Seen them 'bout 15 times since the 70's, that was back in the days when they sounded raw & were hungry-they still got it!

saw them at hammersmith odeon in 76 and had just got into their drug phase i guess because they were really sloppy and brad whitford played most of the solo's that night infact he was the only plus point for me i really felt let down and reading 2 years later was worse so i'm glad to hear how good they were in 75 and can see where their reputation came from

The first time I saw Aerosmith was in early 1975, before Toys was released. My buddy Mark had won a couple tickets for designing our junior High yearbook cover. He brought a young girl who he never saw again for some reason. I bought a ticket and rolled with them to the Providence, RI civic center. We sat behind the band because that's where the cheap seats were. When the backdrop went up, it was all over as far as sight lines were concerned, but the band smoked! Saw them twice in the late seventies after I moved to CA, and they just sucked. I mean bad. Once Tyler fell onto his back on stage and didn't get up for minutes. Have seen them recently, and aside from the sappy soundtracks ballad shit, they can still kick ass!
