The Tampa show is amazing, the quality of the recording is not very good but for those who love Duane and Eric when they play together it is a must. Versions of 'Let it Rain', 'Why does love...' and 'Got to get better...' are great but the version of Layla is a gem despite there being no piano coda. It is floating about on the web as a bootleg.

This show is awesome. Clapton has never sounded as cool as he did that night. Derek and the Dominos are one of the greatest and most underrated bands of all time.

This show as well as many others ought to be for sale on Wolfgang. What gives? Boomers as well as anyone else with an appreciation for the virtuosity displayed on this site would pay for many of these shows. I have downloaded and paid for at least four shows. Why aren't more available for purchase and download? I hope it is not greed. Please work to make concerts such as this classic available for sale. Thanks.

Somewhere, there may be a tape of the Tampa show. I have a distinct memory of a reel to reel deck next to the soundboard. I don't know what vault that tape is sitting in, but it truly needs to be found. Duane played onstage with the band that night and they tore it up! I have photos. I believe he also played the next night in Miami. Please, someone, somewhere, dig that tape up and make it available.
