Concert Summary

Few bands that formed in the early 1970s have managed to survive and continue touring to the present day. Little Feat is one of the few that have, in no small part due to their outstanding musicianship and the idiosyncratic songwriting of founding member, Lowell George, which has stood the test of time.

This 1976 Winterland performance is one of the finest examples of Littleentire summary

My brother gave me a Little Feat album last year and I have been listening every chance I get. For anonyous have had a chance to catch PRoject Object? Just saw them in Wilkes Barre and they will bring a smile to any Lowell G/Frank Z fan. Look them up.

Lowell George and Little Feat........were indeed no little Feat! Lowell was a refugee from Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention........ one of the most underrated , underappreciated influences in music ......in our time .....he helped teach Bonnie raitt slide guitar! Thannks for that little tidbit Lowell! I saw him a month before he passed in Topanga California......a benefit show for the nursery school auxiliary....what a big heart! Superb music and energy........Whereever you are sir I will never forget what you left us........barring Alzheimers!! Randy

The mix is kind rough on the first song, but the vocals kick in and the show is excellent!

I miss Lowell. I got to see him in Boston at the Paradise six days before we lost him. Now he sings to God.
