Concert Summary

The live stuff seems limited. This tape is raw and unbelievable. Saw all the superbands in the '70's at Day on the Green, etc...but missed these guys. What was I doing 7/4/77?

Another classic from uncle wolfgangs vault. As we say in London,"the dogs bollocks my son" I wish i knew the name of one of the backing singers, the one who wears the flowery loose fitting dresses and has got longish curly hair. Is she horny or what? I want to have her children. I dont mean that in a michael jackson way by the way john. Thanks again uncle. jwg.

ptlouie, the opening acts for this show were The Charlie Daniels Band and Sir Douglas Quintet. However, Skynyrd did play Winterland the next Spring (March 6-7, 1976) and Outlaw opened (along with Bob Welch's new band Paris). One of those shows is here at The Vault.

I think I was there. I don't remember much of the 70"s! Wasn't the Outlaws on that bill?

I heard free-bird on the raido today and had to come to the vault This is truly some of the best music that has ever been made. In 74 Phx AZ , my nabor only played Skynyrd on his turn table and I just thought is was the best --- My God Bless Them who have gone to set the stage for us who will be there someday-- Man-O-Man Will That Be A Show Peace-RD
