I was at this performance, I was 11 years old. I was just starting to play music, and I knew that what I had seen was absolutely sensational. To hear this some 38 years later just blows my mind. I remember at that time, I was expecting to hear something much different, and I also took notice of how amazing the rest of the musicians were, till this day I never knew who they were. Simply amazing.

i've read that miles and hendrix were about to record an album together with paul mccartney on bass and the geat tony williams on drums, but before they could record it, jimi died. what a tragic death, choked on his own vomit. that is too bad. if miles, hendrix, paul, and tony would have of recorded an album together it would have been very interesting and buatiful.

This is a great concert with Miles playing at an intensity that he had never shown in his earlier career. Too bad he and Jimi never got together.
