Featuring a 21-year-old Mick Taylor on lead guitar, this song and the subsequent tour to follow would certify The Stones as the most compelling, if not greatest rock and roll band in the world. Over the course of Taylor's live performing tenure with the band (1969-1973), Mick Jagger and Kieth Richards were at the pinnacle of their songwriting powers, writing many of the classics that have come to define the band. As much as Jagger and…entire summary

A VERY classic Stones bootleg album "Bedspring Symphony" on the TAKRL (album # 1941 A/B) bootleg label used this concert for their album. Also on that bootleg there is some classic bootleggers album introductions. This performance is a real stones classic, to be enjoyed.

The album named Love you live was performed in Paris in 1976. This 1973 concert was for French people in Belgium, as Keith Richads had trouble with french justice, and did not come in France (they were used to make 2 or 3 concerts in France, each european tour).

Just a couple more things. I heard this show on the radio when it came out and then went and bought "love you live" and was really disappointed. Ronnie Wood was great with the faces but not as much with the stones.

Wow about freakin time! Nothing compares to the Mick Taylor era please put some more up from this period! I know MT did some nice things with Bob Dylan (got any 1984 recordings?) and John Mayall but wish he wouldn't have left the stones. Jagger is still bitter about it because nothing from this era has ever been officially released.
