Why sound isolating earphones?

Sound isolating earphones provide sound quality far beyond the technical ability of the most expensive earbuds and isolation that’s superior to the best headphones. By creating a secure fit between the sound source and your ear canal, unwanted background noise is blocked out while the music comes straight in.

Originally developed as Personal Monitor Systems to allow musicians to hear their own performances in loud onstage environments, sound isolating earphones work by using soft, pliable sleeves to create a seal and block background noise, allowing small, high-performance drivers to deliver incredibly precise sound directly to the ear. Active noise cancellation “headphones” are generally larger, heavier and battery-driven and can even introduce unwanted artifacts into your audio. The natural sound isolation properties of a properly fitted in ear earphone exceeds the performance of even the most expensive active noise cancellation alternatives.

Shure offers their line of modular SE sound isolating earphones that let you rock out to your music and block out noise. From the entry level SE110 to the audiophile triple driver SE530, Shure has an earphone for your listening style. Visit www.shure.com/holiday for special holiday pricing and free shipping.

Kewl playlist. Howbout some Steve Miller? They sound great in my ear. I have the e4c earphones and they still rock. Saving up for a pair of the new ones with the different cable lengths.

I was at the Alice Cooper show on 07/27/1975 I could only get a cheap seat behind the stage at 3.50. yes you read right, I still have the ticket stub. The show was waycool, I remember at one point Alice throughing 4-5 foot balloons. They where filled with billion dollar bills play money with his face printed on them. I got one that had for a good ten years. This is a great list, I saw others on the list, Too

I do enjoy the playlist. And I would certainly enjoy those earphones. Unfortunately, I work at a recording studio and well, I'm lucky if I can afford food after the rent gets paid. Any chance you guys could get me a position at your place. I Shure would enjoy it.

Gosh, I'll say it's a kickass playlist without listening to more than two songs too! What really gets me excited though is audio equipment, particularly anything sold by the dear corporation that pays my salary. Am I serious? For Shure!

What a great playlist is right. I love these headphones too. I have the SE310's w/ the memory ear buds and they are incredible. Great 9 min Who song too.

Very cool playlist! And as an audio enthusiast, music lover and city-dwelling subway rider, who's been using these earphones for the past 3 years, I can testify to the clarity & tranquility that these earphones provide!
